This mannequin head has been given a very dramatic makeover - inspired by aged stoneware &  Swedish May Queen traditions.
This piece originally made of plastic has been hand painted to give the appearance of texture. This has been done with chalk paint, which has then been glazed with a brown glaze for age, with a lovely floral bouquet dressing her head. Finally the base was gilded in gold wax for that extra touch of charm.
